Born and raised in & throughout small towns & acreages in southern Manitoba, Deanna is a prairie girl through and through!
She is a portrait photographer currently based in Brandon, Manitoba and works in the surrounding westman area.
Her interest in photography started at a very young age with her mothers polaroid, and disposable cameras. As a child, Deanna would use her books and toys to make still life scenes of jungles, or fairytales to photograph.
After high school, she attended college at Prairieview School of Photography graduating with her diploma in 2011, and has continued her photography education through online courses and retreats.
Deanna is bubbly, easy going and loves getting to know her clients. She has found it easier to get to know her clients through the smaller, more intimate sessions such as; boudoir, engagements or 1 on 1 creative projects. Although the more intimate sessions are her favourites, being a social butterfly she has no problems working larger events, such as weddings & socials.
When Deanna isn’t toting around her camera bag, you can find her playing with her three dogs on her acreage, going for a hike with her husband, or visiting with family and friends.
